"Mundinho" is a deeply personal short film that originated from a meaningful chapter in my family's life. I served as both the creator and visual development artist for this heartfelt project.
I wrote the story for this film during a challenging period when my oldest daughter was struggling with overwhelming fears that prevented her from exploring new experiences. Drawing from our personal journey, I crafted a narrative that gently communicates an essential life lesson: facing our fears and embracing new experiences is fundamental to our growth and development as human beings.
Beyond the storytelling, I developed the complete visual identity of the film. This encompassed designing all characters with their unique personalities and expressions, as well as creating the rich, immersive backgrounds that brought this world to life. Every visual element was thoughtfully conceived to resonate with young viewers while supporting the film's emotional arc and central message.

This project holds profound personal significance, as it represents both a creative achievement and a loving response to my daughter's challenges. "Mundinho" stands as a testament to how animation can address children's emotional needs through storytelling that acknowledges their fears while encouraging gentle bravery.
